You used to hide in somewhere

This work is a self-exploratory project, a journey in search of a forgotten memory. The so-called "forgotten memory", is a non-existed existence, a gap in a timeline. I work with two tunnels showcase two states of mind chasing back to a memory. Also inspired by the film "Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind", I tried to think from the perspective of the protagonist Joel, who erased his ex-girlfriend by undergoing a medical procedure, part of his monologue is written on the pedestal.

The Aerial Actor
Saturday, Jul 28
7 – 9 PM
Art Omi, 1405 County Route 22 Ghent, New York 12075
An evening of aerial acts with works by artists from Hong Kong and New York presented by Art Omi, Wave Farm and eteam.
The rise of drones has already been compared with the early days of the internet as the technology faces similar legal issues, confusion, and competing interests. Drones—or UAV’s (unmanned aerial vehicles)—have become ubiquitous, and their use has been restricted, expanded, aestheticized, embraced by agriculture and for art. But what is the effect of this new device? Through a range of works, The Aerial Actor probes the drone and its implications, and utilizes the devices as carriers of messages, and as actors in performances.
Participating artists include: Markley Boyer, Cheng Carmen, Doreen Chan, Kwong Man Chun, Sonia Cheung, eteam, Kim Fisher, Maximilian Goldfarb, Miles Goldfarb, Chung Mei King, Nicholas Knouf, Alon Koppel, Heidi Neilson, Echo Roe, Tom Roe, Chung Wing Shan, Coriander Shapiro, and Melissa Weaver.
